As of 9Oct21, I started Lyft-ing again. After taking a 1.5 year break at the outset of COVID, it was time to get Mint Green back out on the streets of Philadelphia. A lot of things seem to be back to normal (airport rides, bar/restaurant rides, tourists, concerts, stadium events) and the drunk crowd. And, one of the main issues I had at the beginning of COVID and one of the main reasons I stopped driving was passengers NOT having a mask. This continues to be a problem and seems worse than when COVID started. Some people give me the “deer in the headlights” look when I ask them whether they have a mask. Yes, it IS required by Lyft and you DID accept and acknowledge that you had to wear a mask when you requested the ride. So, mask up!!
